Reportedly, many Windows Phone users said that Windows Phone battery doesn’t last as long as Android phone. And that’s because CPU frequency on Windows Phone is fixed. If CPU is 1.5GHz, then the phone will work always at 1.5GHz, which is one of reasons for smooth experience on Windows Phone but also the reason why the electricity intensive. We know that CPU frequency on Android phone is scaling between 288MHz and 1488MHz that battery consumption is less than Windows Phone. But now, CPU frequency isn’t supported by Windows Phone. What’s important is that Microsoft notices this problem, and in the next Update of Windows Phone OS, the CPU frequency may arrive.
