Joe Belfiore promised us a fix to the WiFi shutting off issue when the screen locks or is shut off. Now the first over the air update for Windows Phone is finally here.

The update brings the much anticipated ‘Keep WiFi Alive’ feature. So far the only phone to receive this update is the Windows Phone 8x by HTC. It has been noted that the update is pretty simply to go through and the phone restarts after everything is all done.
