Analyst said CEO of HTC, Peter Chou has decided to stop production of large screen Windows Phones, since resolution of large screen Windows Phones is lower than competitors’. And it may give Microsoft a punch, because Microsoft now is fight with Google and Apple to get more market share. HTC was planned to launch large screen Windows Phones to compete with Samsung who has push Galaxy Note off.
By far, Microsoft and HTC didn’t make any comments
According to statistics of market, in the third season, global market share of HTC go down from 10.3% to 4.6%.
