Recently, an app named Notification enters Windows Phone Store. But it’s an app that can’t be used directly, and users have to use it along with special tool. Actually, that not only increases the difficulty of application but also potential safety hazard. And do we really need it?
Since WP7, live tile was treated as one of selling points, which we can understand as the notification center. Users can know the real-time status of their apps. And also because of three adoptable live tiles in Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7.8, users can put more apps in the home screen. Meanwhile, the lock screen page can show detailed info of system apps or third party apps. So, new start screen and lock screen page can meet most users for the need of notification center. Anyway, if a complete notification center is available, it’s good. But what do you think?
